Let’s be real: being a person is a lot. You’re probably juggling 10,000 tabs in your brain, wondering if you’re too much or not enough, and trying to heal your inner child while parenting (or re-parenting) your present self.

At Amani Therapy, we offer compassionate and personalized individual psychotherapy to support you through life’s challenges. Whether you're experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship issues, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can provide a safe and supportive space to explore your thoughts and emotions.

Our approach is client centered, culturally sensitive, and grounded in evidence-based practices. Together, we’ll work to better understand your experiences, identify unhelpful patterns, and develop tools to promote healing, resilience, and personal growth.

Therapy is a collaborative process. We tailor each session to meet your unique needs and goals, honouring your pace and preferences. Our goal is to help you feel more empowered, connected, and in control of your mental health journey.

What to expect from your first session?

At the beginning of your first session we will review our consent form, confidentiality and any questions you may have. The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We will explore your best hopes from our time together and any topics you are looking forward to touch on.

Who is therapy for? Is it right for me?

At Amani Therapy we believe that everyone can benefit from having a safe, supportive space to talk through their thoughts and emotions.

Therapy can be especially helpful if you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to move forward. It can also provide valuable support if you're experiencing mental health challenges that are affecting your daily life, relationships, or overall sense of well-being.

Whether you're navigating a difficult life transition, managing stress, or simply wanting to better understand yourself, therapy offers a space for healing, growth, and clarity.
